The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reported that warning sirens sounded in open areas around the Gaza Strip.

The military said details are still investigated.

The IOF said "Two rockets were fired from Gaza towards the Eshkol Regional Council. The rockets were fired while Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi (IOF Chief of General Staff) was in the settlements of the cover."
